Church friends and family,

NEWS! And it's good! Our building is opening soon. In fact, THIS SUNDAY! Here's how it's going to work...

At 9:30 AM, we'll offer a "Classic Service" for our older families and our vulnerable population, often known as a traditional service, for those 60ish and up. At the same time, if you do not feel comfortable coming inside, you can worship from your car in the parking lot on 90.1 FM. Further, if you'd feel more comfortable, the sermon will stream live at 9:30 AM on the Mayhill Baptist Facebook page.

At 11:00 AM, we'll offer a "Modern Service" for our younger families, often known as a contemporary service, for those 60ish and younger. This service will also offer a drive-in option for those who are uncomfortable coming inside. The sermon will stream once again at 11:00 AM on the Facebook page.

In between the services, the sanctuary will be cleaned, and both services will be set up to provide social distancing measures, and best-practices will be strongly encouraged. Please bear in mind that at this time, we are still unable to offer childcare and Sunday school classes.

While I would love to have everyone together and believe that day will come soon, with our recent numbers, we'd be near standing-room-only. Praise the Lord! However, based on the change to the previous order last week, we will be able to safely offer two services (and simultaneous drive-in/Facebook Live) and honor the new one based on our building capacity.

Let's keep the momentum going! And please, PLEASE honor the older/younger guidelines with Philippians 2:1-4 in mind:

1 If, then, there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 make my joy complete by thinking the same way, having the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. 4 Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others.

In Sum...

  • No Sunday school
  • Sunday worship @ 9:30 (60+) and 11 AM inside
  • Drive-in service for those uncomfortable coming in
  • Online sermons for those who cannot come
